This was with ableton 11. Not sure if it would work with 12 but I don’t know why it wouldn’t. Great piece of kit. Wasn’t mine though unfortunately 😢. I loved the chunkiness of it!

Hello they are just .wav sound files so they work in any software or instrument that plays audio. I never used a stream deck so I am not sure.

hello. i only used it on these plants but would avoid plants that have bark. as i had issues with that in the past. yes the serial data usually responds immediatly

Thanks for looking checking these vids out! I went into ableton via RCA>Jack and then out of one of the outputs on my sound card to the pedals. Then back into a fresh channel with the effected sound.

Hello I will try it when I get to a laptop and see if there is an issue. For now, try opening a blank max patch and the drag and drop the file into the patch.

I have only used max for this kind of project. PURE DATA is a free software similar to max but it would also be a big learning curve if you never used Max before. Sorry I am not sure what else would be good for this apart from those two softwares.

Towards the end of the video we explain our parts in the project. On my channel you can see how I made the plant audio part. We used max msp and ableton live for this project so experience in those softwares would be helpful.

Hello! I just put little pieces of paper or tape on the record. I tied the tone arm still with a piece of string to stop it from gravitating in towards the middle of the record player.

@@kmolloy7046 the string stops it moving inwards past maybe one or two grooves. Just get little stickers and stick them on the record is the easiest.
